Tandem Invited to Speak at Defense GameTech Users Conference

Marcus Hswe, Director of Client Services at Tandem Learning, will be speaking at The Defense GameTech Users Conference (www.simulationinformation.com/gametech09) held on March 9th-12th in Orlando at the International Plaza and Resort.

Marcus will be speaking on March 11th at 1pm on the subject of "Getting the Most from your Virtual World - Using Engaging Content."

Summary of Marcus' session:

As gradually more virtual world platforms enter the market place and organizations find it difficult to distinguish them, it becomes equally more apparent that the tools used to create these immersive environments apply to technological requirements and are less reliant on the basics of engaging learning. Instead of a focus on which platform to choose, the emphasis should be on developing an infrastructure for each learning initiative that is dependent on ongoing curriculum, a solid narrative guided by learning objectives, and metrics that reliably track the overall effectiveness of a virtual world. Since a world in any shape should endure, creating content that is relevant, interactive, and updatable allows that world life beyond its genesis.
